Seit ich von A1 ein neues Modem bekommen habe (vor ca 2 Jahren, Pirelli irgendwas, mitlerweile getauscht auf ein DV220?, Single User Modus) und mit der darauf laufenden verkorksten Software hat der IPCOP nach der 24 Stunden trennung Probleme die Verbindung wiederherzustellen.
Anfang habe ich das mit einer Zeitschaltuhr gelöst die das Modem nachts um 5 stromlos gemacht und per Scheduller die Verbindung getrennt und nach dem wiedereinschalten klappte die Verbindung wieder.

Mittlereweil klapt das aber gar nicht mehr weil die 24 Stunden Trennung jetz nicht mehr von der Zeitschaltuhr ausgeht sonder scheinbar wieder vom Provider aus. Laut den Logs wird die verbindung mal um 3, mal um 2, wie auch immer komplett unregelmäßig gemacht.
Mein IPCOP deshalb komplett aus dem Tritt.

Jetz ist es so:
-Nachts irgendwann zwischen 2-5 ist die scheinbare Zwangstrennung durch den Provider (ersichtlich aus den Logs mit ppp0 down, ppp0 up..)
-Um 5 kommt dann meine Zwangstrennung
Scheduller - Verbindung trennen 4:45
manuelle Zeitschaltuhr an der das Modem hängt AUS von 4:45 - 5
Scheduller - Neu Verbinden 5:05

Theortisch sollte das so klappen, praktisch tut es das nicht.
Jeden morgen ist die Verbindung tot, auch der Zugriff auf die Weboberfläche des Modem klaptt nicht mehr.
Wenn man auf Wiedereinwahl klickt kommt nur die Meldung (sinngemäß) "RED stil aktive"
Erst wenn man das Modem wieder stromlos macht UND den IPCOP neu startet klappt die Einwahl perfekt.

Jetz habe ich in das oben genannte Prozedere ebenfalls einen Neustart des COPs eingebaut um 5 Uhr. hat aber auch noch nicht geholfen.

Meine Vermutung: Dieses *****ß Modem überflutet mit irgenwelchen Daten den IPCOP auf ROT, der kommt damit nicht klar und hängt irgendwie Fest.

Was mir jetz noch zur Problemlösung einfallen ist: habe jetz kurzfristig das zeitfenster bis zur Wiedereinwahl auf 5:15 verlängert falls es ein Problem mit der ungenau laufenden mechanischen Zeitschaltuhr ist. Das sehe ich aber erst dann wieder morgen früh.

1. Hat jemand ein ähnliches Problem?

2. Was kann ich tun um das Problem weiter einzugrenzen?

3.Aus den LOGs werd ich nicht schlau aber falls wer weiter weiß anbei ein Systemlog von RED nach so einem negativem Einwahlversuch

Um ca 4:26 dürfte ca die unregelmäßige Zwangstrennung erfolgt sein.

Nachtrag:
Das/die Modem von A1 ist/sind prinzipiell im SingeUserModus *****ße. Diveres Beiträge im A1-Forum sowie bei "Die Schmids" belegen das.
Im MU Modus läuft es einwandfrei, jedoch betreibe ich am COP einen VPN Server. Da wollte ich kein doppeltes NAT deshalb der SU Modus.

Die früheren Modems (Thompsen Speedtouch) waren da problemlos...

Blöde Frage (ich kenne die Verhältnisse mit A1 und in Österreich nicht): was hält Dich davon ab, ein anderes Modem auszuprobieren? ADSL-Modems gibt es wie Sand am Meer, und VDSL-Modems gibt es auch ein paar wirklich gute Teile.

Ich möchte ungern ein Modem kaufen das dann eventuell an dem Anschluss schlechter oder gar nicht läuft. Support bekommt man von A1 auch keinen (bekommt man auch nicht wenn man deren Modems in SU betreibt) und im Fall des defekts kann man es selbst ersetzen.. Leider gibt es auch keinen alternativne Anbieter hier...
Es hat ja schon mal funktioniert.

Es ist nur die Frage ob man das Problem irgenwie umschiffen kann und was ich zur Lösung beitragne kann?

Daß Du kein Modem für teuer Geld "einfach so" kaufen willst, verstehe ich sehr gut. Zumindest ADSL-Modems gibt es in der E-Bucht gebraucht schon inklusive Versand für weniger als 10 Euro.

Nur mal als Idee: vielleicht hat das Modem schlicht eine Macke? Ich hatte mal einen Fall, wo das DSL-Modem immer morgens zwischen 07:00 und 08:00 die Synchronisation zum DSLAM verloren hat. Nach langer Zeit habe ich festgestellt, daß das mit der Nachtabsenkung der Heizung korrelierte: immer, wenn es morgens im Raum wieder zimmerwarm wurde, zickte das Modem... Modem gegen ein anderes Exemplar gleichen Typs getauscht --> alles war geritzt... Wie schaut es mit Leihe im Freundes- und Bekanntenkreis aus? Versuch macht kluch...

:?: Ich hatte verstanden, daß Du Dein Modem im Singe´le User Modus betreibst, mithin eh keinen Support hast. Was hindert Dich also, zumindest mal zu experimentieren?

Ich hab hier 5 Modems liegen und ausprobiert, ändert aber leider nichts daran. Einen Hardwareschaden des Modems kann ich deshalb ausschließen.
Auch ist die Software bei allen gleich.
Hardwareprobleme an an den Netzwerkkarten kann ich ausschließen da bei einem Tausch (Rot <=> Grün) das gleiche Auftritt.
Es ist mit größter Wahrscheinlichkeit eine Softwareproblem das zu 99% vom Modem ausgelößt wird aber ich kann es ohne weitere Hilfe nicht näher eingrenzen...

Werd mir jetzt darum auf einer anderen Hardware mal OPNSens anschauen ob es dort ähnliche Problem gibt.

Wenn ich mir das Log so anschaue, kann der IPCop minutenlang das Modem nicht erreichen.
Konfig von Rot ist bei dir statisch auf:
Code:
IP: 10.0.0.140 
Subnetz: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 10.0.0.138

gesetzt?

Kannst du mal schauen, ob dein Modem noch mit der Gegenstelle syncron ist, sobald die (Zwangs-)Trennung erfolgte?
Was mich ein wenig wundert, im Log steht, es wird eine pptp-Verbindung aufgebaut aber das pppoe wird gestartet. Ich kenne mich mit pptp und A1 nicht aus, könntest du da nähere Infos liefern?

Und warum hast du das funktionierende Modem gegen ein anderes ausgetauscht? Gibt es nur zwei Modemtypen, die an einem A1-Anschluss funktionieren? Hast du ADSL oder VDSL?

Ja Rot ist Statisch auf 10.0.0.140 /255.255.255 /10.0.0.138 gesetzt.

Aktuell habe ich, laut der Anleitung hier im Forum, den Tunnel ROT-ROT in der Firewall aktiviert damit ich auf die Konfigurationsseite des Modems komme.
Das Problem daran ist das der Tunnel nur aktiv ist wenn der Cop sich über das Modem einwählt/verbunden ist.
Wen die Verbindung nicht mehr aktiv ist ist der Tunnel weg und ich kann nicht mehr auf das Modem zugreifen.
Da kann ich dann auch nichts mehr nachschauen ..

Wir haben ADSL2+ over Pots. Das geht in Österreich über die pptp Einwahl

Es gibt mehrer Modelle.
1. "Pirelli RG AV 4202" in mehrern Hardwarevarianten
2. "Pirelli DV 2210" sowie "Pirelli DV 2200"
3. Thompsen TG 588

1 und 2 Haben quasi die gleiche Software und sind Firmwaregelocked und es gibt keienn Downgrade mehr
3 ist was eigenes und Hardwaremäßig besser und hat auch weit bessere Software. Bie "Die Schmids" bekommt man da auch angepasste Konfigurationen.

Mit 1 und einer alten Firmware die bis es vor ca 2 Jahren gab hat alles einwandfrei geklappt.
Seit 2 Jahren ärgere ich mit 1 und 2 mit der neuen Firmware herum. Das hat bis vor kurzem auch mir einem simplen Reset (Strom AUS) täglich auch geklappt.
3 habe ich erst seit 2 Tagen, da muß ich noch testen allerdings zu wenig Zeit gerade.

Das könnte der Fehler sein. Laut Setup-Menu gibt es durchaus den Punkt "PPTP". :arrow: http://www.ipcop.org/2.0.0/en/install/h ... rface.html
Zu weiteren Einstellungen kann ich dir leider nichts sagen, da ich keine PPTP-Einwahl verwenden oder testen kann.

Kann ich ausschließen.
Mußte immer so eingerichtet werden. Hat bisher immer so geklappt. War beim IPCOP 1 schon so und beim jetzigen auch. Schließt man das Modem direkt an einen PC muß der PC auch so konfiguriert werden.

Mit dem Thompsen Modem klappts jetz scheinbar. Werde das weiter beobachten.

Kleines Update:
Das Thomsen Modem macht nach mehreren Tagen auch wieder ähnliche Zicken.
Wenn ich einen geplanten Disconnet mache und nach 15 Minunten wieder Verbinden möchte bracuht der IPCOP ca 15 Minuten (~ 20 Verbindungsversuche) bis wieder ein Verbindung zstande gekommen ist. Auch keine brauchbare Lösung.
Bei "Die Schmids" habe ich einen Beitrag gefunden der könnte eventuell auch bei mir zutreffen. Habs aber mangels Wissens nciht weiter testen können. http://www.dieschmids.at/forum/4-fragen ... on?start=6

Habe jetz noch ein altes Alcatel Speedtouch ST546 (ADSL2+) gefunden das im Single-User bisher keine Problem macht, Einwahl klappt sofort nach einer Neuverbindung/Neustart.
Da unsere Leitung sowieso nicht mehr als 12Mbit hergibt und ich der Telekom für das Upgrade von 8Mbit auf 12Mbit kein unverschämten Summen in den rachen werfen will wird das noch länger reichen wenns so weiterläuft 8-)
